I pet cows, goats, chickens, and ducks, I'd guess, on average, once every week and a half. I pet the pigs and rabbits maybe every third day or so, maybe twice a week. I let everyone out before 9am and then try to remember to close the doors before going to bed at 1:50am, except in winter or when it's raining, when I never open the doors. The silos are generally full but the animals seem to eat mostly outdoor hay, except in winter or when it's raining. However, with D.C.’s Autofeed system it will automatically be full of Hay as long as your Hopper has Hay in it. Auto feeders are unlocked when barns/coops are upgraded to Deluxe. I let all of the animals roam, there's no fence on my farm. I have one heater in each building and an auto-harvester in the barn.
