It also won't be the first time that Peter Cullen is connected to Optimus Prime in a more literal way. With numerous homages and Easter eggs proliferating the trailers and promos, it's clear that a lot more love has gone into this movie and how it handles the source material. The designs are many times closer to how the characters started out, and that's not to mention it seemingly involves plot points from Beast Wars. Rise of the Beasts seems to be following in Bumblebee's footsteps and undoing this, finally providing the cinematic experience that Transformers fans deserve.
